Sometimes the esoteric, alternative Christian movement (of which we are a part) gets “hard pressed,” “persecuted” and even “struck down”. But as some early Christian writer said, be he Paul or someone claiming to be Paul(!):<\/p>\n

We are hard pressed on every side,\u00c2\u00a0but not crushed; perplexed,\u00c2\u00a0but not in despair;\u00c2\u00a0persecuted,\u00c2\u00a0but not abandoned;\u00c2\u00a0struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9<\/p>\n

It reminds me of that song, “I get knocked down, I get up again, ain’t never gonna keep me down.” I remember our boys jammin’ to that song from their carseats years ago. They would dance and sing along every time that song came on the radio.<\/p>\n

And the Man from Galilee said in Matthew 24:9<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

And in John 16:33: \u00c2\u00a0“In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”<\/p>\n

Can you see I am bucking myself up here? Hah. All is well with me and mine, don’t worry friends and family, I have just been reading about our persecuted siblings (inner Christians) and cousins (mainstream Christians) around the world.<\/p>\n
