\"PhD<\/a>Custom PhD degree title for your degree diploma<\/h1>\n

One of our recently ordained ministers also needed a religious PhD degree<\/a> via distance learning with credit for his life work,\u00a0and\u00a0he needed it for a specific spiritual niche in which he works. We do allow PhD candidates to\u00a0“design” their degree title to match what they are doing in the field of spirituality. Sometimes it is very interesting the religious degrees they need, such as PhD in Vedic Studies, or Jewish Theology, or the unique\u00a0degree diploma\u00a0we conferred\u00a0this week — PhD in Celtic & Anglo-Saxon Religious Studies.<\/p>\n

Traditional PhD in Religious Studies or Religion<\/h2>\n

Many people just need the traditional PhD in Religious Studies or\u00a0PhD in Religion, while some are doing spiritual or pastoral counseling and need a counseling degree.<\/p>\n

PhD in Pastoral Counseling is similar to PhD in Spiritual Counseling<\/h3>\n

Many ordained clergy are doing a lot of spiritual and religious counseling, traditionally called “Pastoral Counseling”.\u00a0 So the seminary often gets requests for a PhD in Pastoral Counseling<\/a>\u00a0in some countries called the DPC or Doctor of Pastoral Counseling.\u00a0We also\u00a0get requests for\u00a0its more modern version, the PhD in Spiritual Counseling and sometimes a PhD in Christian Counseling. All of these\u00a0seminary doctorate degrees entitle the\u00a0recipient to be called a doctor and put Dr. in front of their name, just as the D.Div (Doctor of Divinity) and Th.D. (Doctor of Theology)<\/a>\u00a0allow.<\/p>\n

Become a Rev. Dr.<\/h4>\n

And since we always ordain our degree graduates (unless they are\u00a0already ordained as a minister, rabbi, or other clergy) the\u00a0religious doctorate degree\u00a0graduate\u00a0may also be\u00a0called a Rev.
