This image is like a political cartoon that makes you stop and think during all the controversy today regarding race relations and gay marriage, not to mention the religious wars all over the planet.
When I saw the video about the lovers behind the black screen as skeletons, I was intrigued. When they came out from the backdrop, I was reminded once again that I need to expand my idea of marriage continually. My subconscious mind still compartmentalizes concepts in ways I must work to reroute. This art is important. We humans judge the external without even knowing it. We must constantly call into question our nature to do this. Love is eternal, internal and transcends all. Let us celebrate ALL marriage.
